The following stations have officially added Lovehammers' GUNS and will play it if/when you call and ask for it. This is just the beginning, so if you want to hear it in YOUR town, or favorite radio station, please call, tecxt and e-mail them. All Alternative and Rock stations in the US should have a copy.

Hammerheads!

How is everyone?!?!?! Some really exciting times are ahead, so I wanted to reach out to you all and let you know what we have been up to lately.

The next chapter in Heavy Crown will be releasing the first single to radio. Many of you ask why your station won't play it if you send it to them. The answer is that they have to wait till they get it from the label. Soon, stations will have our first single "Guns" and you will be able to request it and hopefully hear it until your ears bleed. We have partnered up with the top Radio Promotion company, which will also assist in a few other areas of the band on the label side as well - sales, marketing, etc. We met these people abotu a year ago, and fell in love with them as people, as well as their work ethic, their drive, honesty, and hard work. We are a very difficult group to work with, cause we are nonstop, and need everyone around us to be at that same level. Many people are asking why "Guns" is the first single. After considerable thought and deliberation, as well as feedback from all of you, we decided that we needed to go to rock radio first, and we liked the message "Guns" was giving. This is a very scary time in this world, and people are sacrificing their lives, but they get forgotten very easily. This is a thank you and a homage to our troops who are out there, and will most likely be out there for quite sometime. We have family and friends out there, as most of you do, so this is for them. Oh, and the song rocks too!

The newest package is 4-pack in which a ton of money is saved. We made thsi package specifically for families. We are blessed with a fanbase that reaches many generations, and many shows turn into a family event. In order to keep costs down, we made this package. This package will not be available the day of the show, so please take advantage of this while you can. There are also some great hotel deals and flight deals on Expedia for those of you that are travelling....

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 - there will be an event for all of you to attend on Saturday, September 26 in LA (hollywood area). It will be a FREE event, we will be there, FREE DRINKS, etc. This again is something we are doign to say thanks for all of you that are travelling and spending your hard earned money in these tough times. We will announce where this "Party" will be at the show on Friday.

DINO'S CHALLENGE
This is a big show for us in LA, and I want to make sure that there is a full crazed house. There are quite a few of you already coming, and another bunch on the fence. For those of you that are on the fence, I challenge you to find a way to make it. Hopefully with the new packages, and the free night on Saturday, you will be swayed if it was a money issue. For those fo you that are already coming, I am challening you to find 4 more people to attend the show. Friends, family, strangers, neighbors, or any music lover you may know or run into. These 4-packs make tickets $12.50 a person, so I am hoping we can each find some people that would invest that to discover or re-discover a great band and hopefully friends they will have for a lifetime. I consider all Hammerheas a family, and we are always looking to procreate, so please each of you take this challenge and run with it. The only way this band can grow is with all of you. We took a risk not signing with a label to have more interaction with all the Hammerheads, and to get all the Hammerheads out there more involved. The only downside is that we don't have the money or huge resources for the marketing and promotion. The upside is that we have something better - ALL OF YOU! Together, there is nothing that can stop us - REEP Records - Record Executives Everyday People - that si all of us. Me, you, everybody! Everybody has a say in what happens, but at the same time, in order to make this work, we need everyone to help out. So your assignment is to each get a 4-pack sold. I too will do this, as will all members of the band, and hopefully all of the Hammerheads out there!

SONGS - we heard and read everyone's suggestions and we will be adding a few more songs from the album in the set. We will also be playing a LONG set, so get read to rock, and maybe even roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!

INDEPENDANCE DAY

I would like to begin this post wishing you a fantastic and safe Holiday.

Today we celebrate our Independence, and this week we begin to celebrate our Independence as Hammerheads and as a family. This week marked the first release in 3 years. It is no coincidence that our first single GUNS came out this week. We have been stuck behind the evil clutches of many people - including ourselves for quite sometimes. The war cries of Hammerheads have been and continue to be heard - why? what can we do? Who is doing this? Who is doing that? _ _ _ _ _ _ _ is an a-hole!!! How can we help? When will we hear new music? When will we see you again? WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?! Most of these questions began happening at the end of 2006 as we slowly began to get engulfed in a tangled web of Music Industry hooplah, red tape, and bureaucracies. We, as a band, were crushed many times by many people, and as much as we tried to keep plowing through it all, we knew that certain things had to be cleared up before we could move forward.

Fast-forward to this week, and our first single GUNS is released, and we will be going to radio with it very soon. The release signifies the beginning of a new Chapter in Hammerland. Many of you had known us before 2005, and many more were introduced to us when Marty went on Rockstar:INXS. The Hammerhead community began to grow, and get strong. I think there was a great connection between Hammerheads and the band that still exists today. We always go out of our way to meet and get to know everyone that supports us - we feel like it is a great honor, and love strengthening those connections with you. When we were told by headlining band that we could have meet/greets, we snuck out into lobbies creating our own impromptu ones, until the powers that be were forced to let us have a set one. Many of those were timed, so we then would hang out outside - rain or shine - in order to be able to meet anyone that wanted to meet us and hang out. Many of you were so great to us send us food, treats, gifts, etc, we wanted to spend as much time with you to thank you and get to know you.

Now what? Well, this time, we have no boundaries. The days of labels telling us to tell you NOT to call radio stations, and request us, are over. The days of singles NOT being sent to radio are over. My motto this year is GET LOUD - meaning, speak up for what you believe in. If you are loud enough, people will hear you and begin to listen. We have partnered up with some great people at Fontana/INgrooves who are under the Universal umbrella, but they "get it" and are on the same page as us. It is time to take off the restraints, the handcuffs and get wild again. We have also partnered with a couple other companies that understand the Hammer Model and will be keys to the rebuilding of the Hammer Empire. Hammer Empire - I like that!

There was a lot of anger in people's hearts the past few years of what happened with us and how things were being handled. Anger=Passion=Hunger - all great feelings when starting a Revolution. Yes, I consider this a Revolution. We are revolting against those who unfairly kept us from you and YOU are revolting against them from keep us away. This will not be an easy road. I can assure that.

It's easy to be independent when you've got money. But to be independent when you haven't got a thing -- that's the Lord's test.

This will be a test for all of us. Stand up for what you believed in, or once believed in. You can sit back and be sheep following what is beign fed to you, or you can take a stand and say, "FU! I don't want to listen to that band. I want to listen to MY BAND - LOVEHAMMERS and you are going to play them. If you don't think you should, I will convince you." The problem is without millions of dollars, only hard work and dedication can make a difference. It doesn't take much - a few phone calls and e-mails everyday, telling all your friends/family that the new music is out and that they should check it out, and simple things like that, that we often overlook or take for granted. Posting on different blogs, telling random people at the grocery store, etc.

We had said we wanted a fan-run label, and that is what this is. You will decide many of the most important issues and moves that are made. We will ask for your input constantly. In return, we ask that you treat this as your own. We were able to come up with our BEST ALBUM TO DATE, without having to ask for doantions or investing, but now it is time for you to invest something more valuable than money - your passion.

There will be some rough patches in this wild ride we are about to embark on. Starting today I need everyone to make a pledge to GET LOUD, GET MAD, remember what was taken from you - from us. Let's make a difference, let's show the world what hard work, dedication and love can do - love for music and love for each other. There are millions of Hammerheads out there that know Marty from the show, or have seen us play, and without huge amounts of money, the only way to reach them is with your help. Put up poster, fliers, tell all your friends, tell your friends to tell their friends, come up with crazy videos and post them on YouTube, write it on your back and run out at sporting events - JUST KIDDING. It is easy to jump on a bandwagon when things are going great, but the true test of someone's character and will comes at the most challenging and dire times. I have faith in all of you and know in my heart that we cannot and will not be stopped - impossible when we work together - imfrickinpossible!

Valentines Day - Thank You

I want to thank everyone that came out to the V-Day surprise show. I am getting feedback that everyone had a good time, and that is super, cause that was meant to be a show for the fans.

I know it was really tight in there, so hopefully everyone kept their hands to themselves - then again, it was valentines day, so why not let your hands stray a bit......

Ok, we are working to get this cd out really soon, so thank you for your patience, and please get ready to spread the word, cause we are gonna need all of you for this one.

Back in Black, well, Black and Red

Dudes,

For some reason, our unofficial, official colors are black and red, so why not have that as a title for this blog. It has been awhile, and I am sorry for that, but I promise to get on here more frequently, and keep you updated on things.

So as most of you know, the new album got delayed a bit, because it went from more of a re-mix of old songs and a coupel new ones, to basically a completely new cd with some re-mixes thrown in. Things are going really great, and I hope to share some songs with you soon. We are still looking at a couple of months for the cd, but don't worry, that just means that you will be getting a ton of extras that I had been talking about. Anyone that got the VIP Pre-Sale will be happy they did and get things that nobody else has ever heard - including some members of the band.

Ok, so we have been through a lot of shit, and most recently as you know there was a new situation that was hard on the band, but we are working through that amongst ourseles, and trying our best to put out a great album. Everyone that is reading this has put there heart and soul into this band, and I can't thank you enough for that - you are the reason my fire keeps burning and we continue to thrive and grow. This is the biggest challenge that we have ever accepted to this point and we are going to need all of you. In the past there were people telling fans to NOT request the band at radio, to relax on the street teaming stuff, etc - well, those assholes are no longer giving bad advice and direction.

The new album is going to be released under InGrooves/Fontana, and we will be using the old band label as the Official Record label (REEP RECORDS - Record Executives Everyday People - REEP), so ultimately, WE have final say. InGrooves will be handling the Digital, and Fontana, the Physical (in stores) - they are both affiliated with Universal Records. They also both believe in the band and we are going to have a great relationship with them. When I say WE, I mean you and us. We will ask YOU what the next single should be, we will ask YOU where we should tour, we will ask YOU for advice, suggestions, etc. We will be hiring radio promoters, and PR firms, and basically putting what little money we have where our mouths are in order to make this happen. If it doesn't work, then we only have ourselves to blame - dig? We will need you to call radio, put up posters, tell friends, tell enemies, write it on your chests and run around. This is our chance dudes, this is what we always wanted - three years of frustration needs to come out NOW. You always said you didn't understand why things were being done the way they were being done for the past couple years - the answer is that the people running the show were more interested in destroying the band than watching it succeed. Now it is time to do it right. You have started as fans, now most of you are friends, so let's unite and F**K EVERYONE THAT GET'S IN OUR WAY!!!!

The Revolution starts on Valentines day at Angels and Kings in Chicago....... We are gonna do a short set - just because.... See how it works? We can do that now... ROCK! -dK

Dudes,

I just wanted to give a bit of an update. We have a photo shoot and studio time set up for the next couple weeks. We are starting to roll on a few select summer shows, but really want to concentrate on a release. I think you have been waiting long enough, and in the next few months, you should be very happy. I have been trying to see what hammerheads want, need, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.... I hope you will be as excited to check this stuff out as I am in planning it with the guys......

Oh yeah, plan on being in Chicago in September too - maybe 20th weekend. Don't go booking shit yet, but definitely start looking at rates - ha ha ha ha ha.............

We will start being a bit more interactive with the website now too - you will have inside looks at the photo shoot, studio sessions, rehearsals, etc........

Intersting facts - our website will also feature an intersting fact type thing just about everyday. most days we will populate this news section with a new tid bit, a history of the day, a picture that you may dig, etc.

Earth Day - on earth day - April 22 we will donate 100% of all proceeds from the download of Trees. YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD TREES BY LOVEHAMMERS - type in Trees, Lovehammers in the search area - the artwork will be the pink t-shirt.
